Demonstration of Web Based Health Surveillance System was made to the Principal Secretary (Health) Shri. Ramamoorthy, Dr. P K Sivaraman , Addl. Director (Health Services), Dr. Rajamohanan, SAT , Medical College Hospital, Thiruvanatahpuram on 10/02/2004 at NIC, Kerala State Unit. It has been decided to take up the Communicable disease monitoring for the Dept of health & Family welfare. Data would be collected daily at the grass root level ie., PHC wise from all the districts of Kerala. This helps in building a knowledgebase on the Communicable disease patterns in the State. The product is expected to roll out for implementation within a month
