Labour Minister inaugurates the website of Govt. ITI Chandanathope, Kollam

A new website namely www.iticthope.edu.in  for Govt. ITI Chandanathope, Kollam was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for Labour and Excise Sri. P.K Gurudasan in an auspicious function held at Collectorate, Kollam on 27/05/2010. Deputy Collector (Election) Sri. Haridas R, Principal Govt ITI, Chandanathope B. Haresh Kumar, District Informatics Associate N. Padma Kumar and staff and students were present in the function. Results, old question papers, trade syllabus etc are made available in this site. This site also includes a link to the web portal namely Jobfest & Skilfest 2010.

Jobfest & Skilfest is a joint venture of the District administration and Industrial Training department, the District Collector being the chairman of the committee. The fest will be held on 2010 June 16 to 18. Both the website and web portal was designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, Kollam District Unit under the leadership of District Informatics Officer Sri. Satheesh Kumar V K. Both Industrialists and candidates can register their names online through this web service. Registered recruiters can search for qualified trade holders in the database.  Hon’ble Minister, in his inaugural speech appreciated the services of NIC, Kollam District Unit.
