SPARK Workshop conducted at Kottayam

One day workshop on SPARK Implementation –Challenges ahead was held at Kottayam on 07/06/2010.The workshop was conducted jointly by IT Mission, District Administration,  NIC & Akshaya. Shri E.P Rajan, ADM & District Collector in charge inaugurated the workshop and appreciated the support provided by various offices for making Kottayam District number one in SPARK implementation. Sri M.C. Thankappen,DPO delivered the presidential address.Smt. Beena Ciril Podipara,DIO NIC  delivered a talk on Spark S/W and Solutions for Challenges ahead .Sri Gireesh Parackat ,Manager Spark Division  KSITM gave a description of the Project and  Sri Sarin Sarang,KSITM made a presentation on SPARK implementation.  A panel discussion was also held and problems faced by various offices were sorted out.It was decided to conduct  two days training programme at  Collectorate Academic Hall on 15th and 16th June 2010.Akshaya made a presentation on Malayalam Computing.Workshop ended at 4 PM.
