Government of Kerala Felicitated the hsCAPnic Team of NIC, Kerala in a function held  in VJT Hall, Trivandrum on 18.11.2009. The function was organized by the Education Department and NIC was honored by the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala.  SIO Kerala Dr. K.S. Raman along with the project team received a Certificate of Appreciation and memento from Hon. Chief Minister Shri. V S Achuthanandan.   Hon. Education Minister and Hon. Law Minister appreciated the excellent services extended by NIC Kerala for the successful implementation of the project.

Single Window System for Plus-One Admission (hsCAPnic – Centralized Seat Allotment Process for the Higher Secondary) project is one of the prestigious eGovernance projects of Kerala. By using the system, plus-one admission service was given to about 4.5 Lakh applicants in the academic year 2009-2010. There were about 45 Lakh options for about 2.25 lakh seats in the 1,200 Higher Secondary Schools with 46 Course Combinations. This system gives the convenience of submitting single application for admission to any school and ensures transparency in admission.
